At Congregational & General we've built a business on values you can believe in.

About CongregationalFor more than 100 years, we've been delivering on our quest to serve, protect and respond to the interests of our customers. To help us achieve this, we draw on the services of a skilful and experienced underwriting team who are committed to helping people protect the things that matter to them.

As one of the country's most respected insurers of homes and churches, we hold over £26 billion household assets and 6.6 billion church assets. The fastest growing area of our business today is amongst private homeowners.

Ours is a business which takes its broader responsibilities seriously, and always has. We’re wholly-owned by the Congregational & General Charitable Trust which to date has disbursed grants totalling several million pounds to churches and other worthy causes.

The values on which we've built our businesses remain as valid today as they ever have in the past. Integrity, Teamwork and Innovation are at the heart of everything we do. You can find out more on the Meeting Customers' Needs page of this website.
